TL;DR

Born in Atlanta, based in Los Angeles. Former competitive skateboarder turned actor. Over the last decade, I’ve worn many hats across business, technology, design, and storytelling—bringing ideas to life across disciplines.

Today, I lead a special projects initiative at Microsoft in Windows & Devices, teach at ArtCenter College of Design, consult, and build personal ventures through my studio. I work at the intersection of business, experience, and technology (BXT).

Methodology

Operations

I see operations as infrastructure—the design of business. It’s about structuring workflows, processes, and strategic assets to remove friction, optimize decision-making, and create systems that drive sustained impact. Well-designed operations don’t just support work—they define how work happens.

Design

Creating products, services, and ecosystems extends beyond a single touchpoint. It’s about systems thinking—connecting micro and macro interactions into a cohesive, scalable product while removing silos and building integrated ecosystems. A well-designed product isn’t just intentional, intuitive, and durable—it’s deeply connected, reinforcing the bigger picture across every interaction.

Creative Technology

The tools you use define the outcomes you create—the better you understand the technology, the better the product. I take a Bauhaus-inspired approach, often designing in code and experimenting with emerging tools to bring ideas closer to the product and create more holistic, scalable solutions. Beyond execution, technology is how we push boundaries, explore new possibilities, and redefine what's possible.

Storytelling

Storytelling is the connective tissue between vision, product, and execution. It’s how you align teams, communicate ideas, and create emotional connections. Whether through product narratives, brand identity, or strategic messaging, I use story to bring clarity, meaning, and coherence to complex ideas—turning abstract concepts into something tangible and compelling.

Roles I've held

My skill set runs the gamut—each project introduces new disciplines, methodologies, tools, and processes. At its core, my work is about building systems, creating seamless experiences, pushing technological boundaries, and using storytelling to bring ideas to life.

Leadership & Management Approach

I lead by example and orchestration, balancing hands-on execution with guiding individuals and teams. Whether incubating ideas, driving projects forward, or providing direct mentorship or management, I create clarity and alignment through communication and transparency. I empower individuals to challenge ideas, take ownership, and innovation. Most importantly, I meet people where they are, fostering an environment of inclusiveness and empathy.

Relevant Experience

Microsoft

I lead a special projects initiative in Windows & Devices. My role is horizontal and multi-faceted, sitting at the intersection of business, experience, and technology (BXT). I work across disciplines and teams to accelerate product development, drive innovation, and advance operational excellence.

Past Projects

ArtCenter

I teach in the Interaction Design department, focusing on Interaction Design foundations, product design, design systems, and rapid prototyping. My goal is to equip students with a versatile skill set, enabling them to go from idea to high-fidelity proof of concept quickly. We cover a range of methodologies, tools, and programming, while learning the importance of storytelling in creating clarity and alignment.

I also run a portfolio lab, mentoring students as they prepare for internships, graduation, and their first industry roles.

Courses:
Interactive Prototyping 1
Interactive Prototyping 2
Graduation Studio: Portfolio Lab

Made by Portal

I co-founded Made by Portal, a full-service digital design firm, and bootstrapped it from the ground up—balancing running and scaling the business, securing clients, and delivering high-quality work on tight deadlines, often all at once.

Without venture funding, we had to be agile and resourceful, assembling the right talent, workflow pipelines, and business infrastructure. Our faster, more bespoke approach helped clients save an average of 25% compared to competitors, thanks to our streamlined talent procurement pipeline.

While we provided a range of design services, our most notable work was in web development, motion graphics & VFX, brand identity, and content strategy, working with both small businesses and larger enterprises.

Notable Clients:
Walt Disney Company
Marvel
O'Reilly Auto Parts

Creative (various)

Over the last decade, I’ve worked across television, film, advertising, and digital media in a range of creative and strategic roles—from acting in TV & film to production, creative direction, content strategy, research, and advertising. These experiences gave me firsthand insight into audience engagement, storytelling mechanics, and creative execution at scale—perspectives I continue to apply today.

Along the way, I also ran a luxury car detailing business and worked as a 911 dispatcher when I was 18—told you I’ve worn many hats. 😉

My work has been recognized by leading industry organizations and design platforms, highlighting a focus on innovation, impact, and craftsmanship across disciplines.

Education

I graduated with distinction from ArtCenter College of Design with a Bachelor of Science in Interaction Design and a minor in Business. As part of my studies, I also traveled to Berlin for an immersive deep dive into the history, philosophy, and legacy of Bauhaus.
